Last December we received lots of cards written by students from Austin Friars School, a school in the north of Cumbria and south-west Scotland that also educates in accordance with the Augustinian principles.
It was very exciting and interesting to read about what these children had to tell us. In these letters they talked about them, their hobbies, told us what they were thankful for and asked us some questions about us too.
Exchanging letters and cards with people from overseas is always a good idea, not only because it's fun but it also provides us with an excellent opportunity to practice our English reading and comprehension skills, and to get to know different cultures.
